Scottish lawyers wanted

The National Association of Mortgage Victims are contacted daily by new clients who have concerns about the enforceability as well as other aspects of their mortgage or more commonly their secured loans. Many people have taken out loans with sub prime lenders often for home improvements or under the right to buy scheme only to find that because of them they may never own their own home, may never pay the loan off or may never feel secure again!

In England and Wales the judicial system is different to that in Scotland. But our Scottish clients have just the same problems with their loans as their English counterparts.

We are looking for legal assistance for our Scottish cases, a lawyer who can assist us by taking on cases when representation or litigation is required. Someone who is able to defend mortgage possessions.

We require solicitors

  • Who have a specialist knowledge or understanding of the Consumer Credit Act, and are willing to undertake specialist training courses.
  • Who are fierce litigators
  • Who are willing to get their hands dirty on some of the most complex cases there are within consumer credit law, as well as those with straight forward issues.
  • Who are able to redress the balance and give peace of mind to our most financially vulnerable clients as well as those who have just been misled.

If you feel you have the capability and are interested in taking referred cases, please contact us, initially by email to register your interest. Tell us a little about yourself, experience, area of expertise, and about the firm you currently work for, including location.

We will then contact you and set up a suitable time to have an informal chat by telephone and take it from there.
